Bio

Jen Howey is an indie composer, performer and spontaneous sound ritualist based in Toronto, Canada. 

She formally studied composition with Dr. Roman Toi and attributes any harmonic sophistication and rhythmic latitude in her recent work, Unravel, to his guidance and teaching.

Jen's 3rd and latest offering, Unravel, comes in the form of an extended play release. A minimalist indie suite layered with neo- classical stylings. Intended as a "shadow gift", this work is a musical grief ritual, described as "arresting" and "hauntingly beautiful" and set for release in January, 2019. The first single ”Ghoststar”, is out now!
